National Elementary Honor Society Inductees

2010 OIS Inductees 

The 2010 class of the OIS National Honor Society was inducted on January 29th pledging their committment to academic success and

good character.  Judge Jim Hill was the keynote speaker (pictured belowfor the event delivering a message of celebration and challenge

for the inductees.We would like to thank Judge Hill for his participation in the ceremony and appreciate the contribution that he makes

 everyday to our communities.  The school would also like to thank the parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles that were in attendance to

help celebratetheir child's wonderful accomplishments.  Last year, OIS inducted 220 members of its NEHS.  Below are this years inductees:

  THE 2009-10 YEARBOOK IS ON SALE FOR $28.00

Order forms may be found in the progress report packet sent home on February 9th or orders may be
placed through the office. The 2008-09 Yearbook can be purchased for $20.   To inquire

 On September 22, OIS conducted it's annual Title 1 parent meeting.  Below you will find the
presentation used at this meeting.
  Please take time to review this presentation, if you were
not able to attend this meeting. The information presented is very valuable for your
understanding of how our school uses federal funding, what qualifies our school for federal
funding,  and explains your rights as parents to be involved in school decision-making. If you
have any questions regarding its content, please feel free to contact Mr. Goble or Mrs. Seymour

This school year 2009-2010 we will offer online payments on student lunch accounts.

You can go to our website at www.stclaircountyschools.net and click on the link or go to the web address www.EZSchoolPay.com .  The first step is to create an account by clicking the button “Click Here” underneath “Parents Sign Up Now.”  After you create your account, you will receive an e-mail.  You simply click on the link in the email to validate your account.  Then you can log in and choose option “My Students.”  You can link to your child’s account by entering the student’s ID number, their last name, and the zip code of the school they attend.  Once the child/student is linked to their parent account, you can begin monitoring the child/student’s balance and are ready to proceed to “Online Payments.”

There will be a $2.95 convenience fee for each transaction.  One transaction can include payments to multiple student accounts.   
EZSchoolPay.com accepts both VISA and MasterCard.  Credit and debit cards carrying these logos are accepted.
 

 

Purchases for School Spirit Apparel may be made through the end of December on-line or by using an order packet. 

Order forms may also be found at the PARENT ZONE located at the front office of the school. If you

have not received an order form and would like to purchase any of the school spirit clothing, contact Staci Cooper @ 629-2246.
